If you also use Shoppy Connect, it can manage your store locator for you. Your stores then come from Shoppy Connect, and editing is turned off in Shoppy Store Locator.

How to tell

On the Stores page, you’ll see a banner: Your stores are managed by Shoppy Connect.

When this banner shows:

  • Create store and the Import menu are hidden.
  • Clicking a store doesn’t open it for editing.
  • You can’t select stores for bulk actions.
  • Export still works, so you can download your stores as a CSV file.

Your store locator keeps working as normal for customers.

Why editing is turned off

Both apps can hold the same store details. If you could edit a store in both places, a change in one app could overwrite a change in the other. To keep your details right, Shoppy Connect is the one place to edit them.

Where to make changes

Click Open Shoppy Connect in the banner, or go to app.shoppyconnect.com. Edit your stores there. The changes are sent to your store locator automatically, usually within a few minutes.

What you can still change here

Settings that aren’t about individual stores stay in Shoppy Store Locator, such as how your store locator looks, how customers search, and your map. Find them under Settings.
