# Store pages

> Give each store its own page on your online store, publish or hide it, and change how store pages look.

A store page is a page on your online store for a single store. It shows the store's name, address, phone number, trading hours, description, photos, and a map.

Store pages help customers find everything about one store in one place, and give search engines a page to show for each store.

The app creates and manages store pages for you. Each one is a normal Shopify page, so you'll also see it in **Online Store** › **Pages** in your Shopify admin.

## Create a store page

1. Go to **Stores** and open the store.
2. Scroll down to the **Store page** section.
3. Click **Create store page**.

The page is created and published straight away. Its title is the store's name.

### Create pages for many stores

1. Go to **Stores**.
2. Tick the stores you want pages for.
3. Click **Create store pages** in the actions for the selected stores.

Stores that already have a page are skipped. See [Bulk actions](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/managing-stores/bulk-actions.md).

## Your store page's address

The page address is made from the store's name when the page is created. For example, a store called **Urban Stitch Melbourne** gets the address `/pages/urban-stitch-melbourne`.

If you already have a page with that address, Shopify adds a number to the end, such as `/pages/urban-stitch-melbourne-1`.

The full address shows in the **Store page** section after the page is created. Click it to open the page.

## Publish or hide a store page

![The Store page section with Publishing set to Active, the page address, and the actions menu open with View page, Translate page, and Delete store page](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/_astro/02-published-store-page.B8tMSqZt_1kvwo9.webp)

Use the **Publishing** switch:

- **Active**: the page is live on your online store.
- **Inactive**: the page is hidden from customers. It isn't deleted, so you can publish it again at any time.

Hide a store's page while it's closed for a refit, for example, without losing the page.

## More actions

Click **⋯** in the **Store page** section:

- **View page**: opens the store page on your online store.
- **Translate page**: opens **Translations**, where you can translate the store's description. See [Translations](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/online-store/translations.md).
- **Delete store page**: removes the page from your online store.

> **Deleting a store page can't be undone.** Its address stops working, so links to it from your menus, emails, or search engines break. The store stays in your store locator. If you only want to hide the page for now, set **Publishing** to **Inactive** instead.

## Change how store pages look

All store pages share one layout. To change it, go to **Settings** › **Design** › **Store page layouts**.

- Pick one of the pre-built layouts, such as **Two Column With Map**.
- Choose which details show under **Store page details to show**.
- Or build your own layout with the visual editor.

See [Design and layouts](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/settings-and-design/design-and-layouts.md) and [Custom layouts](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/settings-and-design/custom-layouts.md).

The page shows what you've entered for the store, so fill in its description, photos, and trading hours first. See [Add and edit a store](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/managing-stores/add-and-edit-a-store.md).

## Link to your store pages

Customers can reach store pages from:

- **The store locator**: add **Store page link** or a **View button** in **Settings** › **Design** › **Store details to show**.
- **Your menus**: in your Shopify admin, go to **Content** › **Menus** and add a link to the page.
- **Search engines**: Google finds published store pages over time.

## Good to know

- **Don't edit the page content in Shopify.** The page contains a small piece of code that loads the store's details. If you remove it in **Online Store** › **Pages**, the page stops showing the store.
- **Renaming a store doesn't change its page.** The page keeps its old title and address. To match the new name, delete the store page and create it again. The address changes, so update any links to it.
- **Deleting a store doesn't delete its page.** Delete the store page first if you no longer need it.
- **Uninstalling the app leaves store pages on your online store**, but they stop working. See [Uninstall Shoppy Store Locator](https://help.shoppyconnect.com/store-locator/billing-and-account/uninstall-the-app.md).
